Astronauts Finish United Kingdom run a marathon in space station
Astronaut Tim Peake, United Kingdom, completing the London Marathon run, from an altitude of 400 kilometers above the Earth.
Peake 42-kilometre race to follow it up with a run on treadmills that are on the International Space Station (ISS) with a simulation of the route through the streets of London that aired on the iPad tablet.
He completed the run it in 3 hours and 35 minutes. Guinness World Records stated, it was a record for the fastest Marathon in orbit.
Earlier, the United States antariksawati, Sunita Williams, following the Boston Marathon from space in 2007 with a record time of 2 hours 24 minutes.
Peake, who has stayed four months of a six-month plan in ISS, also sent a message of congratulations to compete to the competitors through the video before the race it on Sunday.
